God sometimes I hate the spring, it means a really early start if you want to shoot the arrival of dawn. A 3.30am start saw me heading over to the Hope valley in Derbyshire to try and get some mist scenery. I had planned on it being misty somewhere in the valley, In fact I drove through some of it on the way to the Curber. Still once on the road I was really excited about the prospect of capturing some delightful first light pictures, and dawn is a lovely time to be out. You get to watch the world waking up!!!

I was out shooting for a total of 5 hours, and got home to a sausage sandwich, and a nice cup of tea (yorkshire tea though) a just reward I think.

All the images were shot using the Fuji XT1 with 55-200 and the awesome 14mm lens. I even used my nice Gitzo mountaineer tripod for a change.
